Roer o Silêncio
"Roer o Silêncio" is a shout from women who unite and stand up against silence, that hard bone to break.
The performance, which brings together Sara Martins, Cláudia Tomé Silva and Ana Simon in a moment of Poetry, Music and Spoken Word, rescues women's voices, gives them back their place of speech and aims to break with the stereotypes of gender roles and discourses.
Sara Martins brings us face to face with anxiety, pain and fear, and proposes the materialisation of what haunts us as a source of light and therefore of clairvoyance and awareness of ourselves and our surroundings.
Cláudia Tomé Silva takes us on a journey into the psychological, carnal and visceral world of the human being, where various emotions and barbaric sensations are unravelled.
Ana Simon offers a collection of surgical dialogues in an anti-hero and anti-poet style, demonstrating that not having unique experiences is a sign that we will never be alone; she pays attention to flaws, intrusive thoughts, the most grotesque and raw aspects, as well as empathy as a peculiar force, bringing to light the uncomfortable issues of neurodivergence.
