Jacaréu
Jacaréu combines Indie-Rap with Spoken Word in a unique and distinctive performance. With poetry as the basis of his inspiration, he uses music as a vehicle, in a recited, sung and rapped style.
His interventive lyrics reflect on the problems of society and what he lives or sees living.
Author of singles such as "Terra do Cupido", "Pitonisa", "Escola da Vida" and "Larguei a Guitarra", he has been travelling the country since 2022, performing concerts and remarkable performances. In 2023, he released his most recent single "Senhorio", combining hip-hop with a critique of the housing crisis.
In 2022, he was a finalist in the VII Lisbon Poetry Festival and is also a member of the traditional portuguese music trio: Fala Povo Fala.
At the festival, Jacaréu will be performing hip-hop beats, poetry and social criticism.
