Ryuichi Sakamoto | Opus
On 28 March 2023, the legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away after a battle with cancer. In the years leading up to his death, Sakamoto was unable to play live.
Both concerts and long world tours were too exhausting. Nevertheless, at the end of 2022, Sakamoto mustered all his strength to give the world one last concert: just him and his piano.
Curated by Sakamoto himself, the twenty pieces chosen narrate his life through music without words.
