(*derivado de visão, com origem no termo latim visĭo, a palavra visão faz referência ao sentido que permite detectar a luz e interpretá-la, ou seja, ver. Em termos de planeamento estratégico a visão é o estado futuro, onde se deseja chegar e o que se quer alcançar, contendo tanto a inspiração quanto aspirações da estratégia.)
Num tempo em que a abundância de ideias acaba por se tornar mais um problema, esta conferência pretendeu revelar e inspirar novas visões sobre o futuro das cidades. Pretendeu, também, proporcionar um momento para formularmos coletivamente as questões com maior potencial mobilizador, e que devemos manter presentes, de modo a tirar o maior partido das novas oportunidades para mudar a vida urbana.

At a time where we are overwhelmed by an abundance of ideas, this conference seek to create the ideal setting to inspire visions for the future of cities. It also aimed at raising meaningful key-questions that hold mobilising potential and thus should be kept in mind, in order to make the most out of these new spaces, whilst creating opportunities to change urban life.
