City Library
The Bibilioteca Municipal de Faro has a centenary history that stretches from its foundation in 1902 to the construction of its new building, inaugurated in 2001.
Its roof terrace offers a fantastic view of the Alameda Garden which, with its peacocks, gives the place a certain exotic atmosphere. There's also a view of the Ria Formosa right next door.
