Located at one of the entrances to the walled enclosure, it was built by D. Francisco Gomes do Avelar (Bishop of the Algarve) and designed by the Genoese architect Francisco Xavier Fabri in the early 19th century.

From this small roof terrace located on the city wall, we have a view of the Vila Adentro, making us feel part of the ancient history of this city!
