Luís Trigacheiro

"Fado do Meu Cante" is Luís Trigacheiro's debut album. There are a total of 12 songs on the album, which, due to its open, slow sound, where silences have as much value as words, makes us revisit the plains of wide horizons and the Alentejo of those who lead us on this journey. A journey where Cante and Fado coexist, either through interpretation, emotion or the instruments that give it colour.

The opportunity to record an album came after Luís Trigacheiro was the big winner of The Voice Portugal 2020/2021.

Owner of a unique and powerful voice, Luis Trigacheiro hails from Beja. In fact, Trigacheiro is more than just a native of Beja. Luis Trigacheiro is Beja. He was born, grew up and studied in Beja and has the city ingrained in his culture, his personality and his voice - and that's what makes him unique. His voice overflows with Portugueseness.

The Voice Portugal turned everything around for her. The seed that had already been planted by his growing love of music as a listener, by choral groups and by the countless live experiences that provoked unique emotions in him, was exponentiated by the incredible and emotional moments he experienced on The Voice and by the way he swept the public off their feet.

At the beginning of 2023, Luís Trigacheiro released "Mulher Contigo é Para Casar", a song written by António Zambujo and Marisa Liz. The song, which featured as an unreleased track on the reissue of "Fado do Meu Cante", is now available on all platforms.

Continuing to tour, 2023 will be a year in which Trigacheiro will start preparing his second album, which should be released in early 2024.
